The Beaverbrook Art Gallery
Our Gala event to celebrate our 75th anniversary was a huge success. Over 130 people attended. We received considerable sponsorship for the event from the community, so the ticket price could be kept reasonable.
We were very pleased that the NB Lieutenant Governor, Brenda Murphy, the NB Senator, Nancy Hartling and the CFUW National President, Grace Hollett, were able to attend. Also, our Fredericton MP, David Coon and the Mayor of Fredericton helped celebrate our 75th anniversary.
In addition to our celebration we have also created an endowed scholarship at UNB for an education female student to celebrate our 75th anniversary.
The entertainment was great and it seemed that everybody had a good time.
